When integration makes the difference: MATIX joins the SAP Build Partner programme

MATIX becomes a SAP Build Partner, bringing digital mould management directly into EAM systems for greater efficiency, traceability and optimisation of production processes.

MATIX has been selected to join the SAP Build Partner programme, officially becoming part of the SAP marketplace offering. The partnership enables manufacturing companies to increase efficiency and traceability and optimise the production processes of these assets.

In the manufacturing world, the word “integration” has become synonymous with competitiveness.
Systems communicate with each other, data flows smoothly, and decisions are made in real time. However, there is still one area that often remains uncovered: mould management, a crucial operational component that is poorly connected to central management systems.

This is where MATIX comes in, the platform developed to digitise the monitoring of the mould life cycle. Today, MATIX takes a decisive step in its growth path: it joins the SAP Build Partner programme, moving even closer to large enterprise ecosystems.

MATIX and SAP: working together to optimise mould management

Many manufacturing companies rely on legacy EAM platforms such as SAP to manage their global operations. Large companies, in particular, prefer integrated solutions that cover the entire spectrum of business processes, and SAP is often the go-to choice. However, mould management remains an under-explored area within these systems, leaving tooling managers without the right tools to operate efficiently.

In collaboration with SAP, MATIX fills this gap, becoming the ‘last mile’ solution for smarter, more traceable and effective mould management.

Thanks to the collaboration with SAP, companies will be able to purchase the MATIX platform directly from the SAP marketplace. The two solutions will be seamlessly integrated: data collected on MATIX will also be visible on SAP, ensuring a centralised view of information.

For example, a company that manages moulds will be able to view both data relating to moulds sold to suppliers (from MATIX) and data relating to in-house moulds, already managed on SAP, on SAP.

Participation in the programme also gives MATIX access to SAP technologies, enhancing the development, testing and continuous integration of its solutions.

The result?
Greater efficiency, more control and better decisions, thanks to complete traceability, from the initial investment to the last production cycle.

“Being recognised as a SAP Build Partner is a sign of confidence in the value that MATIX brings to the manufacturing sector,” comments Riccardo Pistorello, CEO of MATIX.

A tangible benefit for businesses

In the language of technology partnerships, being an SAP Partner may seem like a formal title. But for manufacturing companies, it has a very real impact.

Let’s imagine an international group that manufactures plastic components in different factories: every day, dozens of moulds are used, serviced and moved. Without integrated management, every piece of information takes time to find: which plant is the mould located in? When is maintenance scheduled? How many production cycles has it already completed?

With the integration between SAP and MATIX, all this changes.
SAP customers will be able to easily purchase the MATIX platform directly from the SAP marketplace and gain simple, immediate access to a solution that centralises information, improves operational efficiency and offers complete visibility of the mould lifecycle.

Looking ahead

This synergy combines SAP’s global scale with MATIX’s deep expertise in mould management, offering manufacturing companies around the world greater efficiency, traceability and resource optimisation.

By joining the SAP Partner Programme, MATIX reinforces its commitment to helping companies maximise the value of their EAM investments, ensuring that every stage, from enterprise-level resource management to the last mile of instrumentation, is covered with precision and intelligence.

In the coming months, MATIX will be available on the SAP Marketplace, allowing SAP customers to access its advanced mould management capabilities through their own environment.
