C.R. Technology Systems has been present in the electricity sector since 1985. It has approximately 70 employees between the headquarters in Treviglio, the production site in Zanica and the offices in Viterbo, Tunisia and Cuba. It deals with the study and implementation of custom projects for the generation and distribution of renewable and conventional electricity.

The company had no clear picture of when materials would arrive from suppliers, project development times, and production schedules. Each new order required a new organization, with the risk of frequent delays in delivery.
Different departments operated independently, without a common overview of project progress. This prevented them from quickly identifying bottlenecks and the causes of any blockages in the processes.

Failure to meet deadlines resulted in an extra workload for the production department, with many hours of overtime. Despite the additional effort, deliveries were still delayed, impacting customer satisfaction.
The sales department had no visibility into the workload of other offices and sold new projects without knowing whether production was already overloaded. This created operational imbalances and exacerbated planning problems.
To meet the needs of C.R. Technology Systems, we proposed the implementation of Wepladoo, our project management software specifically for the manufacturing sector. Thanks to this solution, the company can now manage the orders in its order portfolio in a more efficient and structured way, ensuring integrated business planning that involves all the functions involved, from the engineering phase to the delivery of the product.

One of the most important aspects was the sharing of the progress of orders with all offices, allowing each department to have a clear and updated view of the progress of the projects.
In the event of unforeseen events, such as delays in the delivery of raw materials by suppliers, the company is now able to promptly reschedule the timing, redefine delivery dates and formulate more precise estimates on the progress of activities. This has allowed for better distribution of workloads, avoiding overloads and optimizing overall planning.
The sales area has also benefited from this new organization: having real-time access to the company's production capacity, sellers can plan offers more strategically, avoiding accepting orders in periods in which resources are already at maximum capacity.
Thanks to this increased operational efficiency, the punctuality rate in reaching milestones has improved by 300% compared to the period before 2023. In addition, the number of overtime hours has dropped dramatically, from 4,100 hours in 2023 to only 292 hours in 2024.
